Major Duties
ā¢ Meets regularly with the Director of Educational Development
ā¢ Plans and facilitates group and/or 1:1 math tutoring sessions
ā¢ Assists students in the development of appropriate study skills, completion of homework and projects, and exploring topics of interest to the student
ā¢ Maintains consistent communication the Director of Educational Development
ā¢ Models appropriate academic and social behaviors
ā¢ Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
ā¢ Ability to work with students of diverse ethnic backgrounds, academic profiles, and skill levels
ā¢ Possess good interpersonal and organizational skills
ā¢ Must demonstrate responsibility, a desire to help others, discretion, and flexibility
ā¢ Knowledge of academic content and skills
ā¢ Application of such knowledge and tools to help students access material
ā¢ Ability to collect and analyze data to drive future instruction
ā¢ Ability to work independently applying critical thinking skills and problem solving to various situations
Qualifications
