We are seeking a passionate and experienced Math Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium in College Station, TX. As a Math Tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by helping them build number sense, boost confidence, and gain a deep understanding of math. Our tutors are motivated, responsible, and math experts who create a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a positive, engaging, and fun learning center environment for students
Learn and implement the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods
Participate in ongoing training to deepen your understanding of the Mathnasium Method
Tutor students in math at all grade levels 1-12
Benefits and Requirements:
Competitive salary: $10.00-$11.50 per hour
Consistent, flexible schedule: 8-12 hours/week on average
Extensive training in the Mathnasium Method
Must be at least 16 years old
Math proficiency through Algebra 2 required, Pre-Calculus/Calculus preferred
Experience tutoring or working with children in grades 1-12 preferred
