I am seeking an experienced elementary mathematics tutor to help me prepare for the Praxis Elementary Education: Mathematics (5903) exam required for Colorado teaching licensure. The ideal tutor has: Strong knowledge of elementary math concepts Proven experience preparing students for the Praxis A calm, encouraging teaching style with exceptional patience The ability to explain math concepts clearly, simply, and step-by-step Tutoring sessions will be conducted online. I have full access to the 240 Tutoring Study Guide, which provides a strong framework for the exam. I’m looking for a tutor who is comfortable using this guide to structure our sessions and focus on test-relevant material. A bit about me: I have high levels of anxiety and frustration around math and haven’t studied it seriously in decades. I learn best with clear explanations, repetition when needed, and practical strategies—especially for word problems and deciding which approach to use during the exam. Exam Content Areas Include: I.
