Discover Impactful Work: As a Master Demand Planner at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will contribute to supply chain excellence and customer success. You will be responsible for developing and managing credible demand signals, working closely with internal stakeholders and customers to create accurate 18-24 month rolling forecasts. Managing the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process, you will facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align commercial strategies with operational capabilities. You will analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service levels. Through regular engagement with commercial teams and customers, you will build effective partnerships to enhance forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement. You will also support new product introductions, manage product lifecycle transitions, and provide critical insights for strategic business decisions. Responsibilities
• Developing and managing credible demand signals
• Creating accurate 18-24 month rolling forecasts
• Managing the monthly Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process

• Analyzing historical data, market trends, and customer insights to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high service levels

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or Business Administration or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8+ years) or equivalent.
• 2+ years of management responsibility
• Strong proficiency in statistical forecasting methodologies and SIOP/IBP processes
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Advanced analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement
• Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Strong business acumen and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and mentoring skills
• Experience facilitating meetings and driving consensus across stakeholder groups
• Ability to travel up to 25% as required

Nice-to-haves
• APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) preferred
• Experience with demand planning software (Demantra, Kinaxis, or similar tools)
• Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing bias
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry preferred
• Knowledge of Power BI and Salesforce.com preferred
