You'll report to our Director of Product Management and be the backbone of our marketing technology infrastructure, ensuring our growth engine runs smoothly while helping us nurture meaningful relationships with families. This is an opportunity to grow quickly by experimenting with and putting into practice both classic and novel AI tools and techniques that improve internal processes and deliver high-quality, personalized customer experiences at scale. You will be using both sides of your brain in equal parts. This role offers a competitive salary of $75,000-$95,000 plus benefits.REQUIREMENTS3-5 years of experience in marketing operations or similar marketing or growth-related roleHands-on experience with Iterable, Salesforce,Klavyio, Braze, Marketo, Hubspot or similar marketing automation platformsHands-on experience with Zapier, Gumloop, Make, or other workflow automation platformStrong understanding of CRM systems and their integration with marketing toolsData-driven mindset with the ability to derive insights from complex datasetsExperience with B2C, customer journey mapping, acquisition and lifecycle marketing managementA knack for using LLM tools in practical settings, and confidence in generating promptsUnderstanding of HTML/CSS for email template customizationStrong project management skills with ability to prioritize competing demandsWE’D LOVE TO SEEExperience in a B2B2C or subscription-based business modelFamiliarity with integrating marketing automation with e-commerce platformsKnowledge of data privacy regulations (COPPA, GDPR) especially as they relate to children's dataExperience with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimizationBasic SQL knowledge for data analysisExperience with Zapier, Segment, Census, or other integration toolsBackground in education technology or children's productsBachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, data analytics or related field preferredRESPONSIBILITIESBuild and optimize marketing automation workflows to convert prospects to customers and enhance customer lifetime valueManage our marcom tech stack (CRM, email platform, automation tools, analytics), ensuring seamless integration between our tools and ease of use for our team membersActively optimize email marketing performance through testing and analysis.Support A/B testing of email campaigns, subject lines, and conversion funnels.Leverage no-code (e.g. Bubble.io, Unbounce) or codeless tools (replit, lovable, etc) to rapidly generate landing pages for A/B testing.Develop sophisticated segmentation strategies for personalized communications across book clubs, book fairs, and our e-commerce platformCreate comprehensive reporting dashboards tracking key metrics including conversion funnels and revenue generated from marketing automationBuild lifecycle marketing campaigns to engage and retain our consumer subscription audienceWork closely with our data systems architect to influence EDW and data capture systems to support customer LTV across channelsEnsure data integrity and compliance with children's data privacy regulationsPartner with creative and growth teams to execute multi-channel nurture campaignsChampion automation, AI tools, and train team members on marketing automation best practicesActively research, experiment with and propose the implementation of new AI or automation tools, techniques, or processes that can add value to our marketing, personalization or product executionABOUT LITERATILiterati was recently named Inc. magazine’s 7th fastest-growing company in Texas and 77th fastest-growing in the United States, as well as listed in Built In Austin’s 2022, 2023, and 2024 “Best Places to Work.” Jessica Ewing, Literati’s Founder and CEO, was named one of “Google’s Top 12 Most Innovative Minds” by Fast Company.
