Bird partners closely with the cities in which it operates to provide a reliable and affordable transportation option for people who live and work there.Job SummaryBird/Spin's Growth Acquisition and Brand Marketing Associate will be responsible for supporting and executing towards the Company's global brand strategy and marketing execution plans. In this role, you will work to develop and implement centralized campaigns with direction from the Brand + Acquisition, Sr. Associate. You will support localization efforts, and align regional marketing teams to ensure brand consistency, growth, and customer engagement across all markets where Bird/Spin operates. This role requires a data-driven, strategic marketer with experience managing and executing multi channel campaigns, working with regional teams, and optimizing marketing strategies for diverse markets.Responsibilities
Provide centralized support for Bird/Spin brands including value proposition, creative execution, tone and messaging through the development and dissemination of comprehensive brand guidelines that can be localized by regional teams.
Manage the annual marketing calendar and support all campaign execution across channels, including coordinating campaign launch dates, optimizing marketing calendar, as well being responsible for all escalations related to operational activities.
Create and source content and maintain a strong brand presence through our social media channels.
Develop + maintain local campaign execution toolkits that can be adapted in local markets through deep partnership with regional marketing teams to understand local challenges and ensure they have the tools and support needed.
Leverage market research to create impactful creative and messaging that resonates with the Bird/Spin rider.
Where required, collaborate with external agencies for creative production, localization, and media buying.
Support owned communications channels including social media platforms and PR. Responsible for helping to create PR strategies and execution for new market wins, new product launches and any other newsworthy events.
Support regional partners in the execution of all events including measuring and reporting on its effectiveness.
Optimize local event toolkits and create processes and forums for cross regional sharing of learnings and insights.
Utilize data insights to identify new opportunities for acquisition, activation and retention.
Lead by example and help educate business stakeholders with varying technical or non-technical backgrounds.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a marketing, communication strategy, or business from a competitive school
1-2+ years of experience using data to facilitate business or product decisions
Experience with content creation, social media strategy, event logistics and support, and digital media.
