Marketing Assistant
We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team! Love restaurants, creativity, and checking things off a list? We’re hiring a Marketing Assistant to help keep our campaigns, calendars, content, and guest-facing details running smoothly. You’ll work directly with the Director of Marketing, supporting a legacy LA restaurant brand—including Lawry’s, a cornerstone of the Los Angeles dining scene for over 100 years. This is a remote, hourly position, with occasional travel (<25%) to our restaurant locations in Beverly Hills, East LA, Orange County, and Las Vegas for shoots, activations, and on-site support. This is a part-time position, up to 30 hours, with opportunity for growth. Responsibilities Support the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and promotions across all restaurant locations Assist with loyalty programs and VIP guest initiatives, ensuring accurate communication and execution Create, update, and maintain marketing assets including menus, promotional materials, and basic graphics Ensure all guest-facing information (menus, hours, events, and promotions) is accurate and up to date across platforms Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, and planning documents to ensure deadlines are met Assist in compiling campaign performance results, reports, and marketing summaries Coordinate and distribute promotional materials and information to internal and external partners (PR, social, digital teams) Support content creation efforts, including on-site shoots and activations at restaurant locations Provide on-the-ground marketing support during key events, promotions, and activations Assist with administrative marketing tasks including forms, requests, and project coordination Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, culinary, and leadership teams to support marketing initiatives Ensure brand standards and consistency across all marketing touchpoints Support Lawry’s objectives in sales, service, quality, and guest experience Experience: Experience with Canva and WordPress Proficiency in basic computer applications and marketing tools Strong project coordination and organizational skills Clear and effective communication skills Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities Restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage experience Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Familiarity with marketing technology and AI-powered tools Experience supporting content creation or social media initiatives 1–3 years of experience in marketing, hospitality, or administrative support role preferred Education: College degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred Why You’ll Love This Role Work on iconic, legacy restaurant brands with real presence in the LA dining scene Collaborate directly with the Director of Marketing and gain hands-on experience See your work come to life — online and inside restaurants Touch every part of restaurant marketing, from digital to in-store A flexible, remote role with just enough in-person time to keep things fun and dynamic Hourly Range: $20-$25/hour
