Marketing Analyst

We recently raised additional capital and are looking for a Marketing Analyst to take our customer understanding to the next level. This person will work with marketing & retention data to produce the kind of insights that directly drive our strategy & company roadmap.What you’ll do:Immerse yourself in our customer data and help us develop a framework for understanding customer behaviors, pain points & lifetime value.Work closely with Marketing & Retention to prioritize projects, tests & features based on your insights.Conduct ad-hoc analyses to understand the impact of a given project, test or feature launch on key metrics.Propose spend growth/allocation decisions based on rigorous analysis, and communicate with key external stakeholders (Product, Marketing Leadership, Exec Team).Build and maintain dashboards that enable fast and accurate decision-making across the org.Identify opportunities to establish & improve data processes to help us scale, establish code quality standards and improve performance.What we’ll love about you:An expert in marketing analytics, including marketing attribution, CRM, and experimentation.Strong understanding of SaaS / subscription / retention businesses and their key metrics.Strong SQL skills and recent experience querying relational databases in a work setting (we use PostgreSQL).Excellent, business-minded communicator who can highlight the impact your findings & suggest actions to be taken.Enthusiastic about learning both technical skills and how a direct-to-consumer business operates.Huge Plus: some familiarity with and willingness to learn more about technologies like dbt and LookML.Huge Plus: familiarity with D2C businesses and their data stacks (ETL, Transformation Layer, BI Tool).Huge Plus: Analytics engineering chops.What you’ll love about us:Mission-Driven Company: We love cats and we're here to make nine lives ten.People-Driven Company: We treat our people like people; we're committed to Smalls, and we work hard but also respect everyone’s lives outside of work.Data-Driven Culture: We love using data to guide decision-making where appropriate, but we also know when to move quickly and go with our gut.Competitive Salary: Make some $$$.Very Competitive Benefits: Fully paid Health, Vision, and Dental insurance. 4-day work week.
