Read on. Who you are We're looking for a razor-sharp MBA or health-related graduate student or recent grad to join our team as a Market Intelligence Summer Associate. You're the ideal candidate if you have a passion for health equity, exceptional research and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity and impact. In this fully remote role, you'll work closely with our SVP of Growth Lindsey Watson to monitor industry and competitor trends, conduct in-depth research, and synthesize findings into actionable insights that will help us expand the reach of our evidence-based community health worker programs. You thrive in ambiguity, excel at critical thinking, and have a talent for connecting the dots to identify long-term opportunities and risks. What You'll Do Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments related to healthcare, social determinants of health, and community health workers Research policy issues that impact the community health worker market (e.g., state Medicaid requirements and incentives) Conduct in-depth research using various sources, including industry publications (e.g. Health Affairs, CMS data, KFF reports), financial data, and market intelligence tools Synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations, connecting the dots between disparate pieces of information to identify long-term opportunities and risks Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, finance, services) to support strategic decision-making, providing data-driven insights to guide the organization's growth and impact What You'll Need Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data from a wide range of sources, including industry publications, podcasts, and Excel reports Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, connect seemingly unrelated information, and draw meaningful conclusions Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in an early-stage, fast-paced organization Passion for healthcare and a commitment to driving long-term, sustainable change in the industry
