Market Development Representative
Protective Industrial Polymers (PIP) is a family-owned manufacturer of high-performance flooring and coating systems, and they are seeking a Market Development Representative to help grow their new Architecture division. The role involves building relationships with architects, designers, and project managers to drive sales and develop a pipeline of clients while receiving mentorship and support from experienced sales leaders. Responsibilities Build a pipeline - by connecting with potential clients through outreach, networking, presentations, referrals, and in-person appointments Develop real relationships — learn what clients actually need and help them find the right solution from our product line Manage the sales cycle - from first contact through close, with senior leader support at every stage Coordinate across teams — work closely with sales and marketing to follow up on leads, schedule meetings, and keep projects moving Own your territory — you'll have the chance to own a piece of the territory meaning you earn commission not just on the deals you close personally, but across your entire geographic territory Skills You're a natural with people - You don't just tolerate relationship building, you genuinely enjoy it.
