Manufacturing Systems Analyst (Remote)
Responsibilities: This individual formulates and defines system scope and objectives. Defines or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and operating time. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and development activities.
ā¢ Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, builds, tests, debugs and documents those programs.
ā¢ Leads project activities to include customer communications, project administration, cybersecurity initiatives and reporting for OT. Identifies, surfaces and resolves project and cyber issues. Ideal candidate would be 60% OT and 40% cybersecurity minded.
ā¢ Functions as a project leader for small to medium projects, promotes associate growth, productivity and continuous improvement through teamwork and coordination of team efforts.
ā¢ Actively supports the team management and quality improvement process through demonstrated commitment to its concepts and tools (teambuilding, zero defects, measurement, goal setting, process models, etc.).
ā¢ Works with supplier risk management to discover third-party risks resulting from company's engagement or use of partners', vendors', or suppliers' technology or data related products. Understand ICS Frameworks based on industry best practices as well as applicable national standards
ā¢ Stays current in technology by attaining knowledge of Manufacturing Systems technologies, Systems Development Methodology and Project Management tool expertise. Proactively uses Manufacturing Systems technology for productivity improvements.
ā¢ Continuous improvement in knowledge of the poultry industry via poultry technology courses.
Requirements: BS degree or equivalent related experience in Information Systems or Computer Science plus six (6) years of related work experience. In addition:
ā¢ Knowledge in computer analysis, development and systems development methodology is required.
ā¢ Must possess strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
ā¢ Cyber Security with emphasis on OT (Operational Technology)
ā¢ Demonstrates a progression in the systems development field from idea to implementation using sound project management.
ā¢ Must provide off-hour support and may need to come to the main office if cannot be resolved by phone.
ā¢ Must be able to travel, possibly overnight, to any customer area, which could be any company facility or to a remote site for disaster recovery or training or to a training facility or conference. In addition, this position requires at least 20% travel to the corporate office for the first six months in the role.
ā¢ Poultry industry knowledge is a plus but not required.
