Provide engineering support to our maintenance and operation teams within respective departments for continuous chemical coating applications and foam making to a final product.
The process engineer is responsible for ensuring that all processes comply with regulatory requirements and standards.
Implement methods and approaches such as Lean, Six Sigma and other to optimize manufacturing processes.
Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (completed and verified prior to start)
Three (3) years of process engineering experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Current, valid Driver’s License
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Master's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
Five (5) years of process design and optimization in a private, public, government or military environment
Ability to document processes, creating standard operating procedures, product/process standards, work instructions.
Utilization of data analysis software for troubleshooting processes.
Good communication skills, adaptability, analytical and problem-solving abilities
