Manufacturing Engineer Sr Job Description You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for improving the producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes that support the evolving demands of the Warfighter. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr (Level 3) you will be responsible for developing and executing manufacturing processes that enable efficient, high‑quality production while partnering closely with cross‑functional stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop and implement robust manufacturing processes and procedures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and resolve production issues. Drive continuous improvements to manufacturing workflows. Ensure compliance with all quality and safety standards. Provide technical support and manufacturing feedback on new product designs. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start. Desired skills
• Experience with the design and manufacturing of complex electromechanical systems
• Experience with mechanical assembly, manufacturing tooling design, factory design, and factory flow
• Related professional level career experience in production operations
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification
• Experience in program development with emphasis on cross-functional collaboration and leadership
• Experience in capacity & capital planning
• Understanding and wide application of assembly and test methods
• First Unit Flow planning & execution
• Statement of work and proposal development experience
• Experience with Make-Buy generation and strategy
• Experience in the design of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining and material handling
