Manufacturing, Automation & Operations Optimization Consultant. (Advanced Manufacturing, Robotics, Process Engineering) We are looking for a US-based Expert in Manufacturing Automation Overview An established U.S. perishables business operating within a legacy, hands-on industry is entering a major growth phase and seeks to modernize and scale operations through automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing techniques. We are looking for a senior manufacturing and operations consultant with experience designing or optimizing high-efficiency, technology-forward production environments—ideally within cold-chain perishable goods. Key Responsibilities Assess current production workflows and operational constraints Identify opportunities for: Automation Robotics Process re-engineering Throughput and yield optimization Advise on facility layout, equipment selection, and production flow for a new or expanded operation Recommend technologies to improve: Efficiency Capacity Labor utilization Quality control Support the design of a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility Collaborate with leadership on phased implementation and capex prioritization Ideal Background Significant experience in: Manufacturing engineering Operations optimization Industrial automation or robotics Prior work in cold-chain perishable goods Experience scaling operations from manual/semi-manual processes to industrialized systems Ability to translate complex technical solutions into practical, cost-effective plans Strategic mindset with hands-on execution experience To Apply - please provide a short cover letter with your most recent Manufacturing engineering, robotics implementation and supply chain experience and specifically within cold-chain, perishable businesses.
