Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $83,500.00/yrTitle: Manual QA TesterDuration: 12 month contract w/ potential to convert full timeSeniority: Jr to Mid LevelThe IT Quality Assurance Analyst works as a member of the Quality Assurance Team and works within several agile/iterative software development groups. This person will work on and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the applications and integrations in test for their assigned projects. As part of the QA Team, this person will work directly with the QA Manager, Senior Test Analyst, Business Analysts and Lead Developers for those projects.The objective is to create high coverage and reusable test cases in addition to executing those test cases prior to release. They will collaborate with the rest of the QA team, providing help with whichever projects are needed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following and other duties as assigned:• Review business / software requirements and provide input as needed• Run Functional, Regression, and Smoke tests• Prepare high coverage test cases and test data as needed• Execute manual test cases and ad-hoc exploratory testing• Report defects and assist in their understanding• Identify overall Quality issues that could affect the applications under test• Create end of sprint presentations or demosQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:• Experience with Test Management tools such as Test Rail, Qase, qTest, Practi Test, Zephyr, etc.• Experience with defect tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Monday, Mantis• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2• Experience with Manual test cases• Experience in functional testing• Experience executing and sometimes writing SQL to troubleshoot or as part of testing• Passion for breaking software and verifying when fixed• Detail oriented professional with good problem-solving abilities• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas in a group setting• Experience reviewing business and functional requirements and providing input• Experience creating test cases, mapping them to requirements and executing with high coverageSeniority levelAssociateEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesHospitality#J-18808-Ljbffr
