Manual QA Tester
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Manual Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to develop, document, and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure the quality of the software and maintain high standards of testing across the product.
Main Responsibilities:
Ā Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive test cases in Excel based on functional and technical specifications.
Ā Execute manual test cases and report defects to ensure complete test coverage and quality assurance.
Ā Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on software functionality.
Ā Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Ā Track and manage defects using bug tracking systems.
Ā Participate in test planning, test design, and test execution activities to ensure the software meets required specifications.
Ā Provide clear and concise test reports and detailed documentation of test results and issues found.
Required Skills:
Ā Proven experience as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester or in a similar QA role.
Ā Proficiency in writing and managing test cases in Excel.
Ā Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and various QA methodologies.
Ā Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ā Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ā Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
Ā Basic knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating data.
