Position Purpose: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, and identify needs to enhance performance, quality, and motivation of Centene's Pharmacy Services staff. Develop and conduct training programs including curriculum design. • **The Manager, Training role is primarily remote with 10% travel expectation. Candidates will be considered for the role nationally. *** Responsibilities: • Hire, inspire, motivate, coach and counsel fellow training staff. • Manage the activities related to various training and educational programs for the Pharmacy Services department. • Assess and identify individual or group training needs. • Prepare a variety of training aids and materials. • Determine appropriateness of contracting with outside vendors to accomplish organization's training goals and objectives. • Analyze training program effectiveness and submit reports and recommendations to management. • Prepare and approve budgets and travel plans. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of training experience within the hiring departments function, preferably in a managed care/insurance environment. Familiarity with computer based training tools, vendors and other technology based training platforms. Knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning styles, and evaluative methodologies in measuring impact on organization and ROI of training expenditures. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff. Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
