Manager, Supply Chain, Remote Gate Management

We are looking for Managers with a strong delivery record, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs within Amazon Transportation Services. These roles require scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes.

Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

? Manage new and existing programs, successfully delivering difficult projects and goals across multiple organizations

? Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to craft and deliver scalable solutions.

? Work with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.

? Develop, implement, and govern Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions.

? Monitor planning metrics, compare actuals against plans (Daily/Weekly/Monthly), identify gaps, conduct in-depth analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to address them;

? Address daily capacity challenges and serve as the escalation point of contact for planning with site and operations teams;

? Take ownership of end-to-end long-term improvement initiatives, focusing on key KPIs;

? Lead weekly capacity planning cycles, incorporate stakeholders' requests, and ensure efficient planning;

? Educate stakeholders on capacity planning topics and promote a self-service approach;

? Collaborate with Business Intelligence partners to request and develop dashboards and tools for S&OP execution;

? Monitor and control critical Cost to serve and performance metrics such as fill rates, on time arrivals, and touch points/shipments; Collaborate with Relay Operations Center (ROC) and carriers to manage the ordering and cancellation of trucks, ensuring optimal resource utilization;

? Identify and develop appropriate performance metrics for each program and ensure consistent measurement and accountability. Pulling data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, SQL and/or other data management systems) and performing ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed; Create new and track existing metrics to detect & remove any defects;

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of team management experience

- 3+ years of program or project management experience

- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

- 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

- 1+ years of supply chain experience

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

- Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries
