As a leader in acute care and behavioral health, UHS provides high-quality care to over 3 million patients annually, across our national network of facilities.The UHS Corporate PR & Communication Department is hiring a Manager - Social Media to lead the Social Media content strategy, development, execution and measurement for UHS Corp and its subsidiary facilities on all relevant social media channels (currently Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) to support the business and drive brand affinity. This is an integral role that will also coach, manage and develop the social media team members individually and as a team related to client engagement, content planning, copywriting, tool administration, and metrics reporting.Key Responsibilities include:
Leads/oversee content management strategy for UHS Corp Social and Hospital level socials, driving impact for the business. Lead the creation of innovative interactive content
Supervise; direct work; conduct performance reviews; and coach/mentor AC and BH Social Media team Content Specialists
Monitor posts and notifications for reviews, messages and responses in real time with market sensitivity. Perform follow-up with Risk, Legal and local service lines when necessary
Collaborate with marketing directors for assigned hospitals and other hospital and corporate employees to assist in planning and production of content that matches and reinforces hospital and corporate goals
Work with cross functional teams in the UHS Corporate Marketing Department and at the facilities to plan and conceptualize, schedule, develop, implement and measure new and ongoing campaigns and approaches across social media platforms
Provide ongoing education and training to the facility level, as well as mentorship of the social media team
Collaborate with UHS Agency (designers, copywriters, UX, etc.) to coordinate activities and ensure that online content is integrated into ongoing marketing campaigns
QualificationsBachelor's degree with 5 - 8 years' experience overall and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role all in a corporate social media setting.
Expert knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and Microsoft Office for business purposes. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Successful experience leading and inspiring teams. Strong commitment to Service Excellence
Must have excellent writing skills and the ability to write about complex subjects in a way that is interesting and easy-to-read for the average website/social media user
Working knowledge of social media copywriting techniques, best practices and familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques for web and social media
Fluent in AP Style. Fluent in monitoring/leveraging online âbuzzâ surrounding various assigned hospitals
Has strong time management skills; is able to handle many concurrent tasks/projects; has a flexible and collaborative work style; is able to work independently and/or with the Sr. Director of Public Relations and works well within a fast-paced corporate environment
