What You'll Do As a Manager, Product Manager: Capital One Shopping, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams of software and data engineers to design and deliver data platform features for internal users. You will work closely with analysts, data scientists, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to continuously refine the roadmap and harvest insights from experiments and product launches. Key Responsibilities: Lead multiple teams of software and data engineers to design and deliver data platform features for internal users Understand the enterprise data requirements and ensure the system's compliance with enterprise patterns Relentlessly push to understand user and stakeholder needs and ensure they are considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions Create a vision and roadmap for your product that addresses stakeholder needs Partner with analysts, data scientists, designers, engineers, and others to continuously refine the roadmap and harvest insights from experiments and product launches Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders that depend on the capabilities and performance of our platforms Define, socialize, and monitor key performance indicators to understand the evolution and success of the project What We Are Looking For We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager who is passionate about emerging technologies, data analysis, and customer-centric product development. You should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead multiple teams. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience At least 3 years of experience in digital product management At least 3 years of experience working with SQL Proficiency in handling large data files using SQL, Python, and/or R Strong SQL/data analysis skills Customer-first mindset Strategic thought leader who can create a compelling vision and story to present to senior executives and inspire direct and partner teams Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering MBA or Master's degree 5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong technical background in data analysis and SQL Ability to lead multiple teams and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Customer-centric mindset Strategic thought leader who can create a compelling vision and story Proficiency in handling large data files using SQL, Python, and/or R Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Capital One, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
