The Manager, Philanthropic Engagement creates and implements volunteer engagement plans that strengthen relationships with community members in support of United Way Suncoastās Community Impact initiatives.

Objectives:
ā¢ Recruits' community members to volunteer through our annual Weeks of Service and other engagement opportunities that support United Way Suncoast and other strategic community partners.
ā¢ Collaborates cross-functionally to identify and create meaningful engagement opportunities for individual and/or group volunteers.
ā¢ Communicates with external community partners to identify volunteer needs that align with United Way Suncoastās mission and the community centered volunteer approach.
ā¢ Manages accurate data in the CRM for volunteers and external nonprofit partners and generates reports.
ā¢ Participates in committees, serves as spokesperson, and creates and delivers presentations to deliver key messages on local, regional, and national platforms.
ā¢ Supports volunteer recognition efforts.
ā¢ May contribute to budgets and forecasting; effectively manages resources.
ā¢ Develops and refines processes to improve efficiency and achievement of goals and objectives.
ā¢ Consistently demonstrates Our Suncoast Code and Values including applicable elements of leading self, team, and organization.
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
ā¢ Typically requires four (4) or more years of relevant experience, including management experience.
ā¢ Bachelorās degree in a related field; equivalent training or experience may be accepted in lieu.
ā¢ Ability to work some evening and weekend hours.
ā¢ Ability to work in the field extensively within the Suncoast region.
ā¢ Bilingual or multilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) a plus.
