Manager, Key Account (Louisville, KY or CA)
Job Description Summary: The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing Accounts in the assigned region(s) for the Advanced Hydration Division within The Coca-Cola Company. Reporting directly to the Director, Customer Sales, this individual will represent the company to ensure both strategic sales execution and corresponding financial objectives are obtained based on overall organizational objective for assigned territory.RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage headquarter relationship and JBP strategy to ensure National Account positioning is optimized to achieve business objectivesLead the planning, development, and execution of promotional plans to all accounts using fact-based industry selling information including IRI / Nielsen and other industry specific dataA strategic partner to both the regional Sales and Marketing teams to maximize financial investment and capacity while managing to plan the promotional spendLead sales organization for assigned territory leveraging expertise to identify opportunities an establish goals to deliver on targetCalculate, review, and report on various budgets both for customer and T&E expense reportingProvide consistent pre and post analysis of account performance by utilizing syndicated data and bottler sales reports as part of a continuous improvement effort for assigned territoryCross-Functional leader, ensuring planning communication in a timely and accurate manner is executed to bottler and sales and marketing divisionsKeep abreast of all competitive and other relevant information in each account and provide consistent feedback to Director and VP Customer SalesPartner with Coca Cola Bottler key account team to execute shopper marketing initiatives and the price package planPresent customer results at various Division meetings to Sr. LeadershipREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not requiredMinimum of 5 years National Account headquarter calling experience requiredLocation within Louisville KY (50 miles) or state of California requiredSyndicated Data experience requiredStrong analytical skillsMust have excellent computer skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelExcellent communication and presentation skillsStrong leadership and track record in Business Development and the DSD NetworkReliable, hard-working & proactive team player with can-do attitudeCreative thinker who can work independentlyExcellent Team Management and Development SkillsPosition requires substantial travel (50-75%) by car and plane, including both local and neighboring geographic territories.Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distancesMotor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving PolicyThe Coca-Cola Company will not offer sponsorship for employment status (including, but not limited to, H1-B visa status and other employment-based nonimmigrant visas) for this position.
