RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Manager - Financial Services Partnership to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Ā The Manager will evaluate the tax aspects of partnership agreements and manage the client's Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 704b accounts
Ā Manage multiple client services teams on client engagements; plan, execute, direct, and complete tax projects in a wide variety of industries; provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients; Market, sell, design, and implement tax-planning strategies for clients and manage to budget
Ā Manage, develop, train and mentor staff on tax projects and assess their performance for engagement and year-end performance reviews
Ā Research and consult on various tax matters, primarily in Sub-chapter K-Partnership taxation; Utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns and research tax matters
Ā Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other tax authorities
Ā The Manager will maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure deadlines are met, and enhance client relationships
Ā Support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development and other pursuit activities at clients
REQUIREMENTS:
Ā 6-10+ years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience in public accounting or a combination of industry and public accounting experience
Ā Experience with partnership structuring, entity formation and mergers & acquisitions is preferred
Ā Excellent analytical, technical, and tax accounting/technology skills with proficiency in US GAAP, partnership returns, joint venture and non-corporate entity tax returns and understanding of Sub-chapter K partnership taxation, is required
Ā Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
Ā Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
Ā Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
Ā Can travel as needed
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
