A great opportunity has arisen for a Manager, Event Marketing who supports the organization’s global strategy for industry events and sponsorships. In this role you will communicate and works closely with stakeholders and commercial teams to align on event goals, sponsorship benefits, and branding. And tracking return on investment is a critical element of this role.

A snapshot of this opportunity

Delivers customer event strategy, implementation, planning & messaging across events in the APAC region
Maintains overview of event budgets
Aligns with global event processes, adapting where needed to best fit local markets
Supports with event registration sites, including building agendas and speaker profiles
Onsite event support including registration as well as AV and tech set ups
Applies event standards, best practices, knowledge sharing and monitors event performance
Develops and executes communication and marketing plans around events
Facilitates the proper use of branding and TOV in a supporting role. Serves as content reviewer and editor on as needed basis.
Manages and tracks sponsorship benefits and timelines
Administers stakeholder, sponsor and customer surveys and scores events based on sponsorship benefits and against commercial goals
Measures and reports on KPIs
Manages global event calendar and ensure stakeholder kick-off/planning and executive sponsors briefing calls are adhered to
Supports sales in the efforts to market potential prospects, including training and guidance on event specific systems that require connections to be made within portals
Reviews and submits invoices for approval
Provides coaching on event processes and related tools to regional stakeholders and commercial teams -- primarily those focused on demand generation, registrations, lead tracking, but also those supporting internal communications.
Works with senior leaders on setting event targets and briefs the executive team on status
Ability to travel, also internationally, up to 40% of the time


How you can set yourself apart

Possess at least 10 years of experience in the marketing domain along with a College degree in marketing, communication, public relations, advertising, design, or related field
5+ years event management experience required
Ability to project manage multiple tasks and events simultaneously along with proven team handling skills at a managerial level or similar.
Ability to influence stakeholders (non-directs) and drive results by being autonomous and having strong Presentation Skills
Strong communication & writing skills coupled with project mgmt. & event marketing experience
Capable of managing different stakeholders and their agendas with ease and finesse
Motivated self-starter with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
Aptitude to find creative solutions and new approaches to old problems and processes
Experience with event management technology like Cvent
Experience with CMS, database, email marketing tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (word processing, presentation creation, spreadsheets, and graphics).
