Maintenance Technician
Description As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for supporting the farms, hatchery and maintenance teams and will work across all sites at our North Queensland Operations. Including in Cardwell, Flying Fish Point, and Ingham. The role includes project work and routine maintenance working on pumps, diesel engines, vehicles and processing equipment. As a key member of our team you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sites and facilities. You must have manual dexterity and great attention to detail and also be able to work with various machines and tools as well as follow all safety precautions. Job Responsibilities Below are some job responsibilities, but not limited to: Repair, maintain and test plant equipment. Be skilled in the safe and correct use of all workshop equipment used to carry out maintenance on vehicles and plant equipment Conduct daily maintenance activities or tasks as directed by supervisors or managers. Requirements The successful candidate will have, but is not limited to: Related experience as a Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or Fitter/Turner Autonomous worker with ability to find solutions in a timely manner. Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision as part of a team and autonomously. Full work rights within Australia.
