Maintenance Technician $34/hr, 3rd shift

Our established client has an immediate need for a full-time Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for a variety of maintenance work on heating systems, electrical systems, machines, hydraulics, refrigeration, and other facilities maintenance as required
This position pays $25 -$30 per hour.
Maintenance Technician Shift:
3rd shift
Sun-Thurs, 10:30pm-7am
8-10 hours of OT
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Ā Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Ā Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.
Ā Removes defective parts by dismantling devices... using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
Ā Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Ā Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
Ā Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
Ā Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Ā Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Ā Ability to work independently, exhibit the ability to solve problems without assistance and demonstrate effective communication skills both verbal and written
Ā Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics
Ā Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Ā Must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose all electrical problems
Ā Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Ā High School Diploma or GED, with above-average mechanical ability
Maintenance Technician Pay:
-$25-34/hr, depending on experience
-$1.50/hr shift differential
