Job TitleMailroom Clerk, Part Time- 2nd Shift Job Description SummaryResponsible to perform the daily operations of mailroom functions to include processing and delivery of all external and internal shipments. Job Description Job Description Essential Functions & Responsibilities Monday-Friday (1:00pm-5:00pm). Process all incoming mail and overnight packages. Sort mail by Mail Stop. Deliver mail by Mail Stop throughout floors. Delivery and pick up of FedEx, UPS, and USPS throughout floors to and from the mailroom. Process all outgoing mail, USPS, UPS, and FedEx, with attention to shipment details. Assist and advise end users of mail and shipping procedures, i.e. bulk mailings, international shipping etc. Assist employees in preparing special mail types (Certified, Express, Priority mail) with proper postage. Meter all outgoing mail, utilizing best cost option among carriers. Perform duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner. Follow all departmental activities in accordance with set procedures and schedules. Help maintain inventory of all supplies in mail areas. This includes FedEx shipping supplies, general office supplies etc. Assist manager as needed. Minimal Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent. Must be familiar with using a computer/emails. Familiarity and ability to operate all equipment as necessary. Familiarity with Excel, Outlook and Word. Knowledgeable of postal regulations and mailing procedures. Copier/FedEx/USPS and Postage Machine Knowledge. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Physical Requirements: Stand/walk for long periods. Lift up to 25lbs. Dexterity. Bending. Kneeling. Twisting. Gross Motor Skills. Fine Motor Skills. Specialized Skills: Ability to multi-task. Good interpersonal skills. Outstanding customer service Skills. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work with little or no supervision. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
