Responsibilities
Plan and verify materials and methods for each job as directed by documentation or supervision.

Fit and assemble parts into complete assemblies according to customer specifications by interpreting blueprints and drawings.

Set up machines and equipment, ensuring appropriate feeds, speeds, stops, clamps, fixtures, and tooling are selected.

Operate machines and equipment to produce precision parts, performing machining operations approximately 85% of the time.
,
Use a variety of hand tools for secondary operations on assemblies.

Inspect completed parts and assemblies according to specifications, addressing non-conformities as needed.

Complete required documentation for all jobs, including data entry into the ERP system.
,
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A related machine trades certificate/diploma and two years relevant experience, OR six years relevant experience.

Experience with milling, turning, or grinding.
,
Experience setting up and operating machine tools.
,
Intermediate ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and specifications.
,
Proficient in the use of machinist hand tools and measuring tools, process planning, and inspection.
,
Machine shop math skills.
,
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
,
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.
