Job Summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Mac OS X Help Desk Engineer to join our remote support team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot Mac OS X-related issues, and ensure a seamless experience for customers and employees using Apple products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling technical inquiries and resolving software and hardware concerns efficiently. This is a fully remote position that offers the flexibility to work from home while delivering world-class support.
Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for Mac OS X users via phone, email, and chat.
• *

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on macOS systems.
• *

Guide users through troubleshooting steps to resolve system and application-related problems.
• *

Assist with system configurations, software installations, and updates.
• *

Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues when necessary.
• *

Document support requests and solutions in the companys help desk system.
• *

Provide guidance on best practices for Mac OS X security, performance, and maintenance.
• *

Stay up to date with the latest Apple software updates and releases.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• *

Strong expertise in macOS and Apple hardware.
• *

Experience with troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to macOS.
• *

Familiarity with Apples ecosystem, including iCloud, iOS integration, and Apple ID management.
• *

Proficiency in using remote desktop support tools.
• *

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• *

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple manner.
• *

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• *

Knowledge of basic networking principles (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, etc.).
• Experience

2+ years of experience in a technical support or help desk role, preferably supporting macOS.
• *

Experience working in a remote IT support environment is a plus.
• *

Apple certifications such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) are a plus but not required.

Flexible working hours, with shifts based on time zones and business needs.

Availability for weekend or evening shifts may be required.
