As a Deal Origination Associate, you will play a key role in directly contacting acquisition targets/companies for our private equity clients. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven position requiring exceptional communication, persistence, and organization. Youâll be on the front lines of the M&A process â reaching out directly to business owners, understanding their motivations, and setting the stage for successful transactions.
Key Responsibilities
⢠Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day to business owners, founders, and executives to discuss acquisition opportunities. ⢠Qualify leads, set appointments, and manage the handoff process. ⢠Maintain accurate and detailed records of activity and pipeline metrics within our CRM system (Salesforce). ⢠Collaborate closely with team members to track performance, report results, and meet aggressive weekly and monthly KPIs. ⢠Contribute to the continuous improvement of BowPointâs sourcing systems and processes.
Qualifications
⢠Bachelorâs degree preferred; equivalent experience considered. ⢠Exceptional work ethic, self-discipline, and an ability to continuously learn in a fast-paced environment. ⢠Strong communication skills and confident phone presence â not afraid of cold calling. ⢠1â3 years of experience in sales, business development, or financial services is preferred. ⢠Strong desire to learn about a variety of industries
