Low Voltage Project Manager - Remote (Dallas or Houston)

Remote Full-time
We are looking for an experienced Low Voltage Project Manager for a full time position that will be remote with occasional end client visits at their Dallas, TX location to oversee field operations and ensure the seamless delivery of projects involving cabling, intercom systems, security cameras, and related technologies. This position will require some travel requirements amongst a 4 state radius in the Texas region and neighboring states.

This remote role requires a strong understanding of technical systems and the ability to manage field technicians effectively while maintaining high standards of communication and organization. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing projects within the low voltage industry and a proven ability to implement efficient operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee field technicians to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.

• Coordinate project schedules, resources, and budgets to meet deadlines and client expectations.

• Maintain a strong understanding of low voltage systems, including CAT6 cabling, intercom systems, security cameras, and related components.

• Implement and uphold operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.

• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to field technicians when necessary.

• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations across all projects.

• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to management and clients.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to optimize operations.

• Train and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of low voltage systems.

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience managing low voltage projects, including cabling, intercom systems, and security cameras.
• Strong knowledge of CAT6 cabling, intercom systems, readers, lock sets, and video cameras.
• Proven ability to manage field technicians and oversee field operations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to low voltage systems.
• Experience in implementing operating procedures and process improvements.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Technical troubleshooting skills to support field teams in resolving issues.
