(temporary position based on funding)

Location: Central Middle Campus (School of Innovation & School of Excellence)

Terms of Employment: Part Time - 25 hours per week
Monday - Thursday and Friday as needed, hours normally 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Summer Programming up to 5 weeks as scheduled
Up to 4 weeks of Summer Planning

Reports to: Building Principal

Salary: $27.50 per hour - grant funded

Minimum Qualifications:

Would prefer certified applicant (Bachelor of Arts) with previous 21st Century Programming experience
Experience with tutoring or teaching high school students preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The individual for this role supports coordination of the after-school 21st Century Program at Dover High School. With this role the individual selected would support the coordination of partnerships, resources, staff building, and students to meet the expectations within the 21st Century Grant. This position is grant funded. Reinforcing and maintaining partnerships in support of seeking additional funding sources will be an aspect of this role. This position would require summer preparation for the year-long school program. Further questions on 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) can be found on-line at

Primary Duties

Create an environment that promotes participation, enthusiasm, positive group interactions, and academic success of all student participants.
Responsible for supporting all phases of grant implementation in coordination with the site coordinator and designated Building Principal and District Administrator.
Reliable, punctual, and prepared to support all staff in the after school experience.
Organize training, planning, and coaching sessions.
Support input of attendance, database of students, and data collection
Support registration and recruitment of students meeting requirements of the grant
Support management of students and staff as required by the site coordinator
Supports the coordination and supervision of activities; carries out activities/classes
Supports the development of community partnerships to offer recreational and enrichment opportunities
Assisting with Data Collection/Evaluation of program.
Act as a liaison for all partnerships


Support grant writing as applicable
Supports the scheduling, prioritizing, selection, and facilitation of additional activities and special events
Support a student, parent, and teacher communication process
Management of materials and follow-up with material needs for the implementation of the program.
Coordinate parent activities/seminars with building and district.
Support the completion of all DOE & district required paperwork.
Support transportation coordination.
Other duties as assigned
