The ideal candidate will be focusing on cost optimization and minimizing delays in our supply chain processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. Your Mission: Cost Optimization: Analyze purchasing data and supplier contracts to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses. Delay Management: Monitor supply chain operations to identify potential delays, proactively developing solutions to mitigate risks and maintain timely delivery schedules. Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure quality standards are met. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet production and customer demands. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate logistics processes, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on purchasing and logistics performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to align logistics activities with overall business objectives. Someone with experience in logistics all over the world Strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience in export/import from Asia to Europe and familiarity with Incoterms and whole logistic chain process is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
