Loan Support Specialist I

A+ Federal Credit Union is focused on helping its members make informed financial decisions. The Loan Support Specialist I will provide outstanding service to internal members and perform various support functions in accordance with established policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesFax daily ACH reports to dealersRespond to secure messages from members sent through online bankingCompletion of assigned Synapsys Events to include but not limited to – Collections Requests, document requests, release of liens and the removal of GAP, MBP &/or Payment ProtectionProcess all TDR’s(Troubled Debt Restructures), Loan Extensions & Alternate Payment StructuresRespond to emails sent ([email protected]) in regards to member loan questions and refer to appropriate departments when necessaryComplete all Skip-a-payment (SAP) & Change of Due Date (CDD) requests submitted by phone, DocuSign, Synapsys & faxPrepare outgoing and distribute incoming mail for One La Costa departmentsWork the lending inbox daily, which includes but not limited to- processing checks & return mailProcessing and Paying of Dealer DraftsRun daily batch of checks for One La Costa using check processing softwareSend daily balancing reports to accountingPerform indirect quality check on indirect loans after fundingMove electronic contracts and membership cards from file directory to imaging loan records or member recordsMove downloaded electronically signed documents via Docusign from file directory to imagingComplete daily Closed Loan report by updating paid loans in imaging as CLOSEDVerify that all loan documents are in imaging from paper contracts receivedProvide administrative support to the lending departmentAssist with indexing documents for imagingOrder supplies for the One La Costa officePerform other credit union functions and responsibilities as required or assignedSkillsHigh school diploma or G.E.D. equivalentOne year of general office experience preferredAble to work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to adapt to changeExcellent organization skillsSkilled in MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookExcellent skill in Excel requiredBasic math/accounting skills, 10-key calculator by sight along with skilled use of phone system, computer and all related softwareDetail-oriented in order to provide accurate, relevant, and timely information to internal and external membersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent research and problem solving skillsMust have the ability/stamina to work at least 40 hours a weekWill frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carry, finely manipulate and key in dataMust be able to engage in problem-solving skills to help identify and solve potential issues in the fieldMust be able to communicate heavily through telephone, e-mail and in-person communicationsOne year of general office experience preferredPleasant and professional appearanceVerbal skillsGood listening skillsFlexible working hoursDependableOrganizer and plannerPossess decision-making abilitiesVersatile in all aspects of the CUCompany OverviewA+ Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution that offers financial education, credit union, and online banking services.
