Loan Review Specialist

AgWest Farm Credit is a member-owned financial cooperative that provides financing and related services to various agricultural sectors. They are seeking a Loan Review Specialist to perform quality control reviews, document preparation, and analysis of loan submissions to ensure compliance and legal enforceability.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate new loan and loan servicing requests and submissions, follow established procedures and use acquired knowledge, to ensure the compliance and legal enforceability of loan paper and perfection of collateral on secured loans and loan servicingReview and interpret legal and ancillary collateral documentation provided with the loan requests, including access and right-of-way related agreements, water rights documentation, easements, leases, licenses and permits pertaining to real property to identify any existing or potential issuesReview and analyze organizational documentation of business entities (such as corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, etc.) and trust agreements to identify any material issues that may impact loans; work with branch staff to remedy issuesIdentify and remedy issues reflected on title insurancePerform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controlsOther duties as assignedSkillsMortgage lending, application/loan processing, title and/or law firm experienceAbility to develop a functional understanding of the loan review process, including a solid knowledge base of loan products and guidelines, policies and procedures, and origination software specificationsAbility to develop an understanding of real property and personal property collateral documentation and perfectionAttention to detail when analyzing loan packages and preparing loan documentationUnderstanding of real property and personal property collateral documentation and perfectionHigh school diploma or equivalentBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceBasic term life and AD&D insurance (fully paid for by the company)Paid days off annually: 15 vacation*, 15 sick, 12 holidays and 3 volunteer401(k) plan (6% match plus 3% employer contribution)Employee Assistance ProgramWellness ProgramJeans are welcome at work every day at AgWest!Company OverviewAgWest Farm Credit provides agricultural lender and crop insurance services to farmers, ranchers, and timber harvesters.
