Loan Coordinator

United Bankers' Bank is the nation’s first bankers’ bank, dedicated to the success of its customers and employees. They are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Loan Coordinator to help keep the loan process running smoothly by organizing information, reviewing loans for accuracy, and ensuring everything balances correctly.ResponsibilitiesPerforms data entry of daily payments/advances and DDA tickets necessary for loan transactionsMakes appropriate General Ledger tickets as needed for transactionsReviews transactions to maintain daily balancingPerforms loan maintenance transactions on Jack HenryVerifies that the financial information existing between UBB and customers is true and accurateFurnishes financial information to customers who have sold/purchased loans to/from UBBResearches any existing discrepancies that may exist between UBB and customers, determines the source of the problem, and performs the necessary tasks to resolve the situationPrepares and maintains secure spreadsheets for participation loans to calculate percentages and amounts given/charged to each bankCompletes Audit requestsProvides written verification to banks/auditorsFollows up on any discrepanciesReceives daily loan reports and distributes them to lendersReceives and processes payment checks and prepares the daily loan depositAssists with filing in the departmentMonitors Late Fees assessed on Loans by the systemWorks with lenders to waive when necessarySkillsAssociate's degree in Accounting or related field or high school diploma plus equivalent work experience1 – 3 years banking experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office products with emphasis on Word and Excel10-key proficiencyAbility to use discretion and exercise good judgmentExcellent customer service skillsAble to communicate in a clear, concise and pleasant mannerOrganizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasksLoan operations/accounting experience preferredExperience with Jack Henry or other loan system interface preferredBenefitsMedical, Dental, and VisionHSA with a generous company contributionMedical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts401(k) plan with a 3% company contribution, plus up to an additional 1% match -Roth option available12 Paid holidaysCompany OverviewFirst for Your Success Starts with UBB - the Nation's First Bankers'​ Bank When the founders of UBB gathered together in 1975, they faced a serious threat.
