Center Street Lending is a certified Great Place To Work™.This position is remote but requires you to work West Coast Hours.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAs a Loan Closing Specialist, you will be producing closing documents, reviewing closing documents, and communicating with third parties such as title and escrow. Further responsibilities include:Experience in Private Lending, and Private/RTL/DSCR LendingProviding excellent customer service and clear communication with internal and external partiesReview loan files for completeness and accuracy to eliminate risks during funding processUnderstanding loan closing and escrow documentsBalancing settlement statements/HUDsCommunicating with title and escrow to collect documents necessary to fund the loanWorking with internal teams: Underwriters, Loan Processors, Loan Officers, Loan Analysts, Appraisal and Post ClosingCreating structured timelines and coordinating internally to ensure that approved files are clearly documented according to guidelinesBeing able to multitask and work in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and organizationTaking initiative to follow up with internal and external parties to get a file across the finish line in a timely mannerPreparing funding requests for internal wire team and escrowAdhering to established SLA’sMaintaining an average pipeline of 15+ loans and funds 35-40+ loans per monthQualifications1-2 years preferred experience as a loan closer or processorStrong written and oral communications skillsDetail oriented and has a team player attitudeFamiliarity with title and escrow documents, knowledge of mortgage termsExperience with Encompass (preferred, not required)Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and AdobeEducationBachelor’s DegreeCompensation$28.84 - $33.65 per hour, depending on experienceBenefitsPaid time off/401k plan/Company EventsHealth insurance/Dental Insurance/Vision
