Live Chat Representative (Remote)

Flite Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and highly motivated Live Chat Representative to join our Customer Support team. As a Live Chat Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, answering inquiries, resolving issues, and providing an outstanding customer experience through live chat. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, have a strong attention to detail, and possess the ability to handle multiple conversations simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via live chat, ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience.
• Provide accurate information regarding company products, services, and policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues or concerns in real-time, offering effective solutions.
• Document and track customer interactions in the customer support system, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments or supervisors.
• Maintain a friendly, empathetic, and professional tone throughout all live chat interactions.
• Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns, handling refunds, and other service-related requests.
• Ensure timely responses and resolutions, meeting team performance and quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends to provide the best possible assistance.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving customer service processes to enhance overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a live chat or call center environment.
• Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Ability to manage multiple live chat conversations at once without compromising quality or accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet service level goals.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with chat platforms, CRMs, or help desk software (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk).
• A positive, patient, and customer-focused attitude with a passion for helping others.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with live chat software or customer support platforms.
• Knowledge of [industry-specific tools or products] and/or technical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience in a remote or virtual work environment.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
