Litigation Paralegal Case Manager: Boutique Energy & Landowner Rights Ligation Firm [Hybrid Remote]

Overview: We are currently seeking candidates who are motivated to work at a firm that prides itself on doing exceptional work that improves the legal landscape for the community it serves. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional with a proven track record in managing complex commercial litigation cases with extra points for experience in federal litigation, class actions, and appeals of matters of first impression. This role requires a combination of strong analytical abilities, exceptional reading and writing skills, and a resourceful approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
• Case Management Support: Assist the firm in moving cases through various stages to promote efficiency and maximize attorney time.
• Task Management Support: Assist attorneys in managing their workloads by organizing and prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Superior Organizational Skills: Maintain meticulous records and manage case files and databases with an attention to detail ensuring that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
• Discovery: Coordinate and manage the discovery process, including the collection, review, and production of documents; work closely with clients as needed.
• Proactive Case Management: Anticipate the needs of attorneys and proactively manage case progression to ensure deadlines are met.
• Legal Drafting: Assist attorneys in drafting various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, affidavits, discovery requests and responses, and correspondence with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Research: Confirm local rules, state and federal process and filing procedure, [etc]
• Litigation Support: Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations, including preparing exhibits, witness binders, and trial materials.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.

Qualifications/Character:
• Motivation: Demonstrate a high level of initiative and motivation to excel in a fast-paced legal environment.
• Inquisitive: Show a strong interest in the details of cases, conduct legal research, and provide insightful analysis.
• Education/Certification: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program is preferred; or
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in commercial litigation within a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience in Diverse Jurisdictions: Handle cases involving multiple jurisdictions and ensure compliance with varying legal requirements.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness.
• Advanced knowledge of legal technology and software, including case management systems, e-discovery platforms, and document review tools.
