Litigation Paralegal

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is a law firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal for their New York office. The role involves managing large multi-case dockets, drafting pleadings, and providing general support for attorneys and team members. Responsibilities Management of multiple case deadlines Deposition coordination Drafting pleadings and discovery Client reporting and general support for attorneys and team members Preparing for expert depositions and trial preparation for MDL litigation matters Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery Experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court Case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Skills A Bachelor's Degree required Extensive experience with the management of large multi-case dockets Management of multiple case deadlines, deposition coordination, drafting pleadings and discovery Client reporting and general support for attorneys and team members Extensive knowledge in preparing for expert depositions and trial preparation for MDL litigation matters Must be a self-starter and team player Candidates should be familiar with the NY State and Federal Rules and Administrative Procedures Work independently on pleadings, discovery, motion preparation and e-discovery Successful candidates should have experience and knowledge with e-filing in state and federal court, case management, docketing, e-discovery, document review, exhibit preparation, attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office products Candidates must have excellent analytical and written communication skills A Paralegal Certification a plus Experience filing/serving out of State and in the Court of Appeals is preferred, but not required Previous Compulaw and iManage/Document experience is beneficial Familiarity with Insurance Defense cases is a plus, but not required Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401K PTO Disability & Life Insurance Company Overview As the only full-service law firm with offices and attorneys in all 50 states, Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani delivers maximum value to our clients by combining the resources of a national firm with the local knowledge of a regional firm.
