The Litigation Paralegal role at Castle Rock Injury Law is designed for a highly autonomous paralegal who can own civil litigation workflows from pre-litigation through litigation, bringing completed work product to the attorney for review. This position is crucial for alleviating the operational demands on our lead attorney, allowing the firm to maintain its high standards of client advocacy while enhancing efficiency and accuracy in procedural tasks. By taking full ownership of case management, the paralegal plays a vital role in driving the firm's mission of successful client outcomes and growth.

What you’ll do:

Discovery Management: Prepare, draft, organize, and track discovery responses and related obligations independently, ensuring timely and accurate productions.

Initial Disclosures: Independently assemble and prepare all initial disclosures, records, exhibits, and summaries for attorney review, optimizing accuracy and completeness.

Medical Record Management: Proactively manage the collection, organization, and filing of medical records using YoCierge, ensuring seamless integration into case files.

Calendaring and Deadlines: Take charge of all litigation scheduling, strictly adhering to Colorado procedural deadlines and ensuring zero missed deadlines.

Case Management: Autonomously direct case progression and workflow, anticipating next steps and maintaining momentum without daily oversight.

Evidence Documentation: Prepare billing summaries, Bates-label evidence and document sets, and upload records or case materials to tools such as EvenUp as needed.

What we’re looking for:

Colorado Litigation Expertise: Deep Colorado civil litigation experience is strongly preferred, including familiarity with Colorado courts, procedural rules, discovery requirements, disclosures, and court-specific deadlines.

Autonomous Work Style: Capable of independently driving litigation tasks from inception to completion with minimal guidance.

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail in managing procedural rules, deadlines, and documentation.

Tech-Savvy: Competent in utilizing AI tools and litigation software such as Briefpoint, Lexis, and ChatGPT to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Strategic Problem Solver: Able to foresee potential procedural challenges and devise strategic solutions proactively.

Performance-Driven Mindset: Comfortable in a direct, performance-driven environment with high expectations, clear accountability, and minimal hand-holding.

Why you should work here:

High Autonomy: Enjoy significant independence in managing litigation processes, with a direct impact on firm success.

Leadership Access: Work closely with Dale Casares, directly influencing the strategic direction of the firm.

Growth Opportunity: Opportunity to expand your role and eventually oversee additional support staff as the firm grows.

Innovation-Driven: Be part of a firm open to leveraging modern technology and AI for process optimization and innovation.

Additional perks:

Competitive Salary: Earn $90,000 to $100,000+ based on experience for US-based employees, with potential benefits post-trial period.

Flexible Work Setup: Open to remote/work-from-home arrangements, with preference for Colorado candidates for occasional in-person meetings.

Trial Period: Initial 90-day trial period with clear performance metrics to support your success.

Potential Global Opportunities: The firm is open to evaluating both experienced Colorado-based candidates and highly experienced global litigation paralegals, with compensation structure based on work arrangement and experience.

Benefits: Benefits eligibility and details will be discussed during the interview process and may begin after the initial trial period.

Join Castle Rock Injury Law and play a pivotal role in transforming client experiences and ensuring the procedural excellence of our litigations. Your dedication and expertise will be instrumental in achieving the firm’s mission of providing exceptional legal support. We invite candidates who thrive in dynamic, independent roles and are eager to contribute to our success to apply.
