They are seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their Chicago office, where the role involves managing various aspects of civil litigation, including drafting legal documents and collaborating with senior attorneys and clients.ResponsibilitiesDrafting pleadings, discovery, demurrers, and motions to strikeCommunicating with clients, claims adjusters, and witnesses, providing updates and strategic inputCollaborating with senior attorneys and clients on case strategyAssisting in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparationParticipating in depositions and court appearancesDefending clients in civil litigation and arbitration involving personal injury, property damage, medical malpractice, construction, transportation, and product liability mattersAttending court hearings and mediations both remotely and in-personWorking closely with senior attorneys to prepare for mediations and settlement conferencesSkillsActive bar license in Illinois1-4 years of litigation and/or civil litigation experience in either state or federal courtExperience with trial preparationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skillsBenefitsMedical insuranceVision insuranceDental insurance401(k) with Company MatchGym Membership at Willis TowerPaid parental leaveCompany OverviewTressler is a law firm providing legal services with headquarter in Chicago.
