Litigation Associate

Clyde & Co US LLP is seeking associates and senior associates to join their growing litigation defense practice in Seattle. The role involves handling a variety of liability and insurance challenges, including insurance coverage and bad faith, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. Responsibilities Take depositions, attending hearings, and mediations as required Draft and submit pleadings, motions and briefs Prepare correspondence to colleagues and clients Conduct legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis Draft discovery requests and discovery responses Review and analyze documents and materials for production Actively investigate claims and prepare case handling strategies Actively and effectively report to our insurance carrier clients and insureds Prepare cases for trial/mediation and participate in trial/mediation Skills 1 – 10 years of experience Admitted to practice in Washington State Civil litigation experience Excellent legal research, writing, and oral communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to simultaneously handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters Effective problem-solving skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects Benefits Hybrid Work Flexibility – Enjoy a perfect balance between remote and in-office work.
