Life Underwriter (100% Remote)
100% Remote - Cannot reside in California, New York, Colorado
Job Description:
Complete given cases/assignments
Order an exam and identify the total risk
Experience looking at prescription history and reviewing medical records
Screen medication data for life insurance applications
Analyze high risk medications
Assessment of adverse health information relating to classification of risk
Screen life insurance applications for selection of standard and substandard risks
Evaluate health information received with add-ons and reinstatements
MIB code reporting and interpretation of MIB code data
All duties require identification of medical terminology
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have 5+ years of Life Underwriter experience
Experience in iPipeline's Resonant Underwriting workbench
Medical Terminology
Knowledge and identification of off-label medication uses/reviewing medical records
Experience working case limit of $100,000 or more
Experience... working signing authorities over $100k
Experience with following programs: Swiss Re, RGA, underwriting Manuals, Score, underwrite.me, John Hancock)
