Life Sales Representative
Horace Mann is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Life Sales Representative to help educators plan for a secure retirement. In this remote role , you'll engage with current and prospective clients—primarily in the education field—to understand their goals and match them with life solutions that meet their needs. What You’ll Do Handle in-bound inquiries and place out-bound follow-up calls to educators seeking life insurance solutions. Develop trust-based relationships , educating clients on owning life insurance products. Meet or exceed sales targets and activity metrics through consultative, needs-based selling. Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and company quality standards. Accurately document interactions in CRM systems and stay informed on industry updates and product enhancements. Schedule Remote, full-time position. Eight-hour shifts scheduled within business hours: Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–7 p.m. CT . Requirements Active life license is required ; health license to be obtained within 6 months of employment. 3 years of financial services or consultative sales experience required, preferably within insurance, retirement planning, or wealth accumulation environments. Experience in a call center or sales role, with proven ability to meet sales targets. Passion for serving educators and a strong sense of mission. Exceptional client relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility and trust quickly in a remote engagement model. Comfortable using CRM tools, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and working independently. What We Offer Base salary + uncapped commission – rewarding high performers.
