Skills Deliver Virtual Care: Provide remote video consultations through Pawp's advanced, yet simple-to-use tools, thoroughly evaluating each patient's medical data and concerns with care and expertise. Establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR). Create Impactful Care Plans: Use your clinical judgment to develop care plans, prescribe medications when appropriate, and empower pet parents with clear, compassionate guidance. Refer for in-person care when necessary. Champion Education: Share educational insights and resources to help pet parents make informed decisions and become better advocates for their pets' health. Ensure Quality & Compliance: Obtain informed consent, maintain detailed and compliant medical records, and strictly adhere to all laws, regulations, and best practices in telemedicine. Collaborate & Grow: Work alongside a talented, mission-driven team, with ongoing support and oversight from Pawp's medical leadership. Requirements Active Veterinary License in good standing in at least one of these states: AZ, CA, FL, ID, MO, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TX, VT, VA, WA. Multi-state licensure is a plus! Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and at least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience preferred. Valid liability insurance for all services provided. Excellent Communication: Able to explain medical terms in simple, empathetic languageboth verbally and in writing. Commitment to Quality: Detail-oriented, ethical, and always putting patient welfare first. Availability: 210 hours per week from your desktop computer. Hours vary depending on state licensure.
