Licensed Resident Title Agent - Utah

As the Licensed Resident Title Agent for the state of Utah, you'll handle a title order from beginning to end. This team member helps the organization’s adherence to regulatory guidelines in their particular state.

About the role
Analyze documentation from multiple sources to verify ownership, legal descriptions, and restrictions
Check for real estate title defects or issues, such as claims, liens, mortgages, deeds, wills, or fraud
Review abstract for accurate information and issue title opinion in a high-volume environment in a timely manner
Review all closing documents to be sure requirements in the title commitment have been met and issue title policy
Act as a go-to resource on answering questions from internal partners regarding the closing process
Maintain a high-level understanding of team processes to effectively relay information to partners, clients, team members, and leaders
Flex to support teams and improve team processes
Review deeds and documents to facilitate with recording, when needed

About you
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of title agent experience
Meet state licensing requirements
Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree with 1+ year of legal experience OR 5+ years of title agent experience

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable job posting disclosure requirements. The compensation for this position is $55,000.00-$124,000.00.The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
