Licensed Maryland Special Education Teacher (REMOTE)

Overview:
Seeking a dedicated Virtual Special Education Teacher to provide personalized instruction and support to students with disabilities in a remote learning environment.
This role involves:
ā¢ Develop and implement IEPs tailored to students' needs.
ā¢ Adapt curriculum and instructional materials for virtual learning.
ā¢ Conduct virtual assessments of academic, social, and behavioral development.
ā¢ Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student goals.
ā¢ Provide direct virtual instruction using appropriate teaching strategies and technology.
ā¢ Monitor student progress, maintain records, and prepare reports for meetings.
Qualifications:
ā¢ Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
ā¢ Active MarylandLicensurein Special Education.
ā¢ Experience in virtual or traditional special education settings.
ā¢ Strong understanding of special education laws and IEP processes.
ā¢ Proficiency in virtual learning platforms and technology tools.
ā¢ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
