Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed new business production goals.
Solicit new business via telephone, networking, and lead sources.
Develop insurance quotes, deliver presentations, and close sales.
Process policy changes and complete insurance documentation.
Ask for referrals and explain our referral program.
Treat every customer contact as an opportunity for cross-selling and up-selling financial products.
Follow all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements.
Build and nurture strong customer relationships.
Requirements:
Genuine willingness to learn and be coachable.
Positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated attitude.
Ability to create relationships from a cold start.
Strong multi-tasking, follow-through, and follow-up skills.
Excellent communication, business writing, and editing abilities.
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred: Property & Casualty (P&C) license (training available for the right candidate).
Prior sales experience with a proven track record.
