Flexible scheduling.... no nights or weekend hours required so you can have them free for other activities!Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforming records management (creating and updating information) on the library's system and excel spreadsheetsCreating and affixing spine labels, attaching property information to materialsSearching for electronic journals Locating and pulling materials from the shelvesShelving materialsAssorted other tasks to prepare materials for use Minimum RequirementsMust have accepted a Federal Work Study award for the applicable termAbility to type accuratelyAttention to detail a mustAbility to push/move heavy book trucks and lift heavy booksKnowledge of excel spreadsheetsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreference given to Freshmen and Sophomores (Opportunity to work for multiple years)Successful completion of a Criminal History Background CheckIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the US and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
